Insurance?

Recently, my faction mate and I were talking about insurance, and I thought that it could be a great idea for Torn. Basically there is a new link in the city called Insurance or something. And you can go and get insurance coverage. Money from insurance collected in checks. Pay for insurance weekly or something.

Health Insurance: Get small amount back for getting mugged or hosp. (maybe money is dependant on time in hosp)

Car insurance: Get small amount back for crashes in races. (maybe money is dependant on value of car, higher value, more car insurance cost)

Home insurance: Get small amount back if your home gets dog pooped or TP. (not sure about this one)

If you think this is a good idea, like it! More people will see it! If not, plz just ignore it. Just an idea.

Car insurance might just be a good idea, but health insurance wouldn’t be easy to implement, unless you want to make it useless to the pros or too expensive for the newbies. Home insurance just doesn’t make much sense.

I feel like Torn’s main draw is that there isn’t a safety net from the elements of the city, so no mugger or TPer pays the due for his actions. You get a faction to back you up and that’s that, but otherwise, you’re done for. I sort of like that feel and I think that a health insurance plan would only diminish it.

but why though i mean like what does making a little money back if things happen to you do im just not seeing this being implemented in a way that makes life easier the car insurance one maybe? but for most players it would just be easier to not pay any insurance and just pay for there shit themselves
