Has anyone encountered a possible bug with employee effectiveness? Basically their Effectiveness goes from x amount to 0 overnight, When showing the buff screen it shows minus X amount for inactivity, regardless of how active they are.

Just happened to me i hired a guy yesterday, he now has -158 due to inactivity
I once reported to staff about this in Bug section.
They told it was supposed to be like this.
Just logging in and training once or twice is not recognized as active by the system..employees need to do a number of stuffs daily.
But still, zero effectiveness on day 1 is not acceptable imo..I think ched needs to rework this.

It has been a problem since the update and the fact they added a how new section to counter addictions.

It also takes a pretty extended period of logging in, not doing anything, and logging back out to drop effectiveness to 0.
It's not a bug. It's not unacceptable. You're just mad because you don't want to look at activity graphs and make sure you're hiring a decent employee.

I saw the same thing. So it appears the employee is logging on but not doing anything in order to have their full stats show as inactivity. What actions do employees need to do daily in order to be considered active? Just so I have it right and let them know.
The general consensus is to have them train an energy bar and do crimes with their nerve bar and definitely perform a captcha. Trading and attacking can also help.
