My tiny faction has been getting over doses left, right and centre for a week straight. I personally OD’d 8 days ago and 5 days ago. In that time I took a handful of ecstasy then out of the blue, an OD. We’ve had a total of 6 ODs in the last 48 hours, and we’re only a group of 23. We think something must have been tweaked for this to happen, since the chances of 9 OD’s in a week all with people from the same small faction is VERY VERY VERY improbable.

What really strange is that we never hear anyone complaining about not OD'ing for months... even though that's very, very, very improbable too
But yeah... RNG.

Your faction upgrade tree will thank you for your efforts. Sometimes it just goes like that but you're also working on a challenge to make that better.

Take a look at the “Times overdosed” % in your stats (compare within your faction)
It’ll likely sit somewhere at 2-4% If it’s higher than 5%, your lucks real bad and you can #BlameChed
If it’s lower than 2% then you’re lucky and can #ThankChed
It really is RNG tho - hit or miss

who would want to Jinx a good streak by talking about it out loud? The rule of thumb: is loudly complain about the bad stuff and quietly count your lucky stars when things are going your way!

You do realize that they can check overdoses on your personal stats, right? Drugs>Times overdosed.

Also to OP, yeah that's how random events work, sometimes it happens once in a blue moon, sometimes you get three ODs back to back. If you want to actually measure and see if it adds up, take all the drugs taken over the past week by your fac members, divide by overdoses over that same timespan, you should get somewhat close to the overdose chance.
Note that different drugs have different OD chances and the larger your sample size (period of time) the closer you should be to the average overdose chance.
