There should be realistic modifications for vehicles..
How can a Lamborgini gallado have a front mounted intercooler when the engine is in the back of the car?
And some of these cars like the ford mustang use super chargers
These care modifications havent been well thought out nor are they realistic
This should probably be moved to Suggestions.
In general racing 2.0 needs a rework for diversity at minimum IMO, and at maximum, some player interaction.
I suspect you're probably expecting a bit much from what is a fairly simple system.
As mentioned by Beerstein above the whole system probably needs a revamp, but it's a bit of a rabbit hole exercise in terms of how far down the rabbit hole you'd want to go from a cost-benefit perspective.
Meh, most of the part conflicts can be solved by using your imagination. So that front mounted intercooler was used as a top/rear mounted intercooler on rear engine cars. Look on the bright side, parts like "racing camshaft" and "Stage 3 Turbo", which imply a single camshaft or turbo, only need to be purchased once instead of multiple times for all the vehicles that have multiple camshafts or turbos.
On a side note, it actually is realistic for cars like the mustang to use turbochargers instead of superchargers for track racing. Turbochargers don't steal power from the engine (parasitic loss), are more fuel efficient, and provide more boost in the higher RPM band. Hence most race cars that aren't naturally aspirated all use turbochargers. Superchargers aren't really that common outside of drag racing.
All valid points ... least it's not west coast customs styled lol
