Is there a way to get the forum search function to search for a phrase instead of the individual words?

No, that doesn't work.
AFAIK, there is no way to search for a phrase.

I believe Torn uses Sphinx search.
However searching with the phrase between quotes does not work.
Maybe try
one << two << three << four << five
