torn crashes after loading

I have been playing torn on my phone for about 6 months now with no problems until about a week ago ( around last update i think).
But now whenever i start the app it loads and then within a minute or two the app just closes and then it wont even load before crashing again. Ive tried playing out of a few phone browsers as well, with the same issue (it also closes the browser back to phone screen) I also tried using torn pda on app store and had the same problem. Ive tried uninstalling a few times with no luck.
The weird thing is that playing on my laptop or any other device i have no problems. So I think its something to do with my particular phone model maybe?
using my phone is the only way i can play while im working, so this has hampered my game a lot as i cant travel or do anything for a big chunk of my day.
My phone is a Sony Xperia XZ running android 8.0.0 and is not hacked.

well the last time i tried to download it again was yesterday, so the most recent version i suppose. It also crashes when i try to play torn in firefox on my phone just using the website instead of app. I hope this helps a bit.

Even when not using the app it still crashes. Thats the problem. Trying to play torn on my phone in any form is not working but on my laptop its fine. I assumed that playing in a browser on phone would be the same version as playing in browser on laptop. one works one doesn't.

so the issue is not actually fixed, for me at least.

i just downloaded version 1.1.1 on my phone. still same problem. Still tries to load and as its about to start just exits app or browser completely

I have an issue on browser. It takes a long time to load and it seems like it's stuck.
Not sure whether it's a network issue or not

My app just hangs and crashes since the last update. Can hardly do anything with it :( Those tabs are also horrible, who designed that ... You close one tab, but another tab closes instead.
