· 2 likes · You were 0’d before the money was deposited. 99.9% likely that is why the mug was still successful. You’ve been playing the game long enough to know to self hosp when leaving with that amount of money.
Just left the HR poker table and even though I deposited the cash, i went into negative and got mugged. I assume it happen very close to each other but if the money is successfully deposited, how can they mug and my money go into negative?

It is a bug, but one which is said to be difficult to fix with torns infrastructure and such an outlier event (of the 100's of thousands of attacks it effects very few people) that it isn't deemed to be worth developer time.
The big distinction here though, is that in the chronology of events it is deemed an acceptable mug. (you were allowed to deposit money which you shouldn't have had.) If this bug was fixed, you'd have been sent to hospital and mugged, with no ability to deposit. (the mugger was faster than you were at depositing). If that wasn't the case then you'd have deposited and been mugged for 0.
We are aware of this issue and slowly improving different areas, however sometimes it’s still possible - in this case both transactions will be successful and this may result in negative balance.
theres nothing to refund because you deposited money you should not have had. [you have gained an advantage from this bug, not a loss].
if any change was to be made, it would be to edit the balance stored within your faction to a lower amount and change your cash on hand to $0. but you can do that yourself easily enough.
