Torn City Clothing shares no longer paying dividend though I have purchased the required amount. More than 4 months since I have not received benefit from it.

It only pays out on average 4 times a year, so going 4 months without a payout isn’t that bad. I’ve known some people to go like 6-7 months without a payout from it.

Nothing new, they pay out very infrequently

Roughly 20% APR, so about 5% of the worth of the block per 3 months

I've had TCC for 8 years, and it has gone a year without payouts.

The new logs page is so convenient! So I held it since May last year and have gotten 3 payouts so far. Would have been 2 payouts only if I saw this thread yesterday Load image: laughing

id assume the payouts are linked to the value of the stock? like as the value drops, the dividends are fewer and further between? perhaps theres a way to inflate the value by buyin/tradin but that would require a coordinated effort, unless the value is based on ppl buyin from the clothing shop>.>

I think the payouts are randomized somewhat. I think I've also read that they depend on the value of the stock when you bought it rather than the current value, but I'm not 100% sure. If you look at the one month graph of TCC you'll see that it was worth a bit less 28 days ago than 1 day ago, yet my payout was higher 28 days ago (looks like they're actually my lowest and highest payouts thus far). Feel free to compare the graph to the other payouts, lol. And no, people buying from the clothing shop does not affect it, and manipulating a block takes a lot of effort and a lot of money... there were some discussions of some big factions manipulating PRN stock about a month ago in the forums. IIRC it involves buying up all the shares just before the 15 min tick so the bot causes the price to go up. Of course, this requires an effort every 15 min around the clock, as well as enough money to buy up all the shares. Hopefully stocks 3.0 won't allow that to happen.
