So i was curious how this could happen.
Now Bogie told me this is a script.
How the F is this allowed ? where's the line ?
"script" is not an inherently bad word in the way you think it is. The script is perfectly legal and uses the API in a legal way. You already got an answer from the community manager, not sure what you expect the rest of us to say

This isn't a bug but this is something I've spoken to Ched about, in itself isn't breaking any rules and in a way is one of the things the API is made for - as the alternative is people illegally scrape personal stats.

The line is when it clicks for you. That's not allowed. I agree that the casino script is BS, but, it's also easy to deal with. Put your cash away, refill, wait a random amount of time, go wild.

If the script is continually polling a small number of users (with the API) to see when they refill their tokens and report when it happens, then it's legal.
If someone uses that and has noticed you routinely wait a period of time before entering the casino, it's legal.
If they randomly use job points to check your cash on hand and get lucky, it's legal.
There are no legal scripts that would tell someone when you are on a casino page. Bogie is probably referring to using the API to get a good idea of when you might be in the casino.
There ARE scripts that can tell someone when you are flying, in jail, or in hospital, because this information is also available on your profile page.
In general, if someone can find information by just visiting your profile page, stats page, bazaar, display, etc, they can also find it with the API. If they cannot get the information by visiting pages, then they cannot get it with the API.
Any other information obtained about you would be illegally obtained by using scripts that are not approved (not using the API), but how someone would use an illegal script to discover that you are on a casino page is beyond my skills.
Aa long as the script does not execute actions in game by pressing button, its allowed by staff.
Some big factions have it, but I can't find it in the tools & userscripts forum, so, I'm guessing you either have to know someone who has it or write one yourself.
