With all the talk, I thought it apropos to raise.

Racism in China

"For those who think the official line from Beijing is bad, check out the Chinese internet, where the rampant racism against Black people is often too appalling to repeat."

Yet in the US and Canada we here now non stop about Anti-Asian racism.

Hmmm...could it be that racism is everywhere and all races are guilty and often hiding socio-economic class bigotry?

We do hear about it more because there has been a notable increase in violent attacks against folks of Asian descent. What you posted is undoubtedly true; however this has little bearing as to what is going on over here. Our society should take actions to curb anti-Asian sentiment despite what is going on in mainland China.

why do people in canada and the united states talk about racism in canada and the united states? obviously they should be talking about racism in some other shithole that they can't possibly have any control over

Hmmmmmm I was gonna comment about the futility of racial politics then i noticed that I see many of our regular leftists chimeing in on the subject matter of race , as though it take up a big part of their thoughts and identities...... kinda telling if you ask me.

personally just doing a driveby on the two most recent p&l threads, both happen to be "race" threads, started by loony conservatives who literally only post this kind of shit...

i'll talk about whatever whenever tho i gotta lot of f**kin thoughts

for example: mentioning socio-economic conflict is great, super great, if you wanted to actually do something about it instead of making it worse

let China worry about China while the U.S. and Canada work on the problems here. You cant do anything about what is going on across the sea. You have much more control over the issues in Canada though, and I'm sure there are racial issues there just like here in the U.S. .

A conservative racist started this thread, and you hopped on it like flies to shit.

Even more telling.

What is that even supposed to mean dude? There is objective quality evidence which shows that anti-Asian hate has increased significantly during the past year. The fact that people aren't okay with that is a good thing.

But please, share with the group about the futility of racial politics as it pertains to anti-Asian sentiment.
