Torn City has been Ground Zero for a large number of nuclear events. Inevitably, all the radiation has caused anomalies. We see them, all around us, those poor creatures that were once human, but now have become what is known as trolls.

Sadly, contradicting the expectations we'd have if we had read too many Marvel Comics, no superhero has emerged to fight these hideous creatures that live off forum drama of the lowest kind.

Instead, we see people dealing with trolls. Each has their style, and some are more effective of efficient than others.

Who dealswith trolls best, in your opinion? Who can troll the trolls so eloquently that their brains implode?

Who earns the honorary title of Dances With Trolls?

My bet is Chedburn - used to routinely slag off dissenters from what I've come across

That and he made this troll-infested hellscape.

He deals with trolls, he harbours trolls, and being Chedded make trolls.

Also, I'm in favour of having professional trolls around. They keep the place lively.

Noone ever really wins when they give trolls the attention that they seek. Actually, that's not quite correct: the trolls win.

While it can be fun and amusing to see them ripped to shreds, it's ultimately a lot more satisfying to see them being completely ignored.

Back in the before times, long before Torn came to be, there was tale of a man. Edward B Huckleberry, they called him. His government name was Jerry Fieldling and I'll be damned if I know where Edward B Huckleberry came from, but I feel it probably had a lot to do with Mark Twain and cocaine.

Anywho EBH, as I will from here on out refer to him as, was a man of considerable resource of wit and intellect. He would use that wit to stump his opponents in games of logic and reason. He would use that wit to prevail over all who dared sit across from his countenance at the chess tables. He would use that intellect to solve the New York Times crossword puzzle using a sharpie.

One day while Ed was out and about, he stumbled and fell into an open manhole cover breaking three vertebrae and severing his spinal cord at T12-L1. This incident rendered his legs useless. It also rendered his manhood useless and his wife left him for Jeremiah Goldstein the following November. This was the final straw that broke the proverbial camel's back.... no actually that was the fall. Well, this set a fire inside of Eddie boy.

He began wasting his days on the internet swearing at strangers, cussing at the old and infirm, abusing the denizens of the net. Tales say he made a game for the soul purpose of abuse and he gets his delights making others suffer in that game.

He created Torn. Ched and the "admins" and "staff", all but puppet accounts run by one sadistic individual. A jilted lover gone mad with grief and the inability to take himself for a walk (in more ways than one, if you catch my meaning. If not, he can't walk or masturbate)

We are all his twisted social experiment. Whoever can slay that man, Edward, will be the one who Dances With Trolls. But hear this now, be careful not to become that which you slay, the abyss is always watching.
