There seems to be a limit on "logtypes" (10) and i can't seem to poll more than 1 "logcategories".

Do log calls also count for our 100k daily limit (if so the category/type cap is a real issue) or is that on a different counter that caps on 100k lines fetched?

I don't know the answer to the first one, but I imagine that being intended.

This is a different count, but also 100k.

That's correct, you can select up to 10 logs, and only 1 category. The same is possible via the on-site log by shift-clicking.

100k requests or 100k lines fetched from the database?
If nothing is received then nothing is increased. The limit is for lines successfully fetched. If you search for 10 different logs, and receive 1 record, your limit will increase to 1 / 100000.
