Does anyone know of some good Editing/Recording software? I know that OBS exists but it doesn't like working with me sadly. Anything that is free - ~$50 is what I'm looking for.

Honestly, with what else is out there ... just try and get OBS to work for you. It should work just fine.
The next closest thing would be paid for sure, and still wont compare to how good obs is.
