What happens if upkeep isn't paid? My spouse (who actually owns the PI) hasn't been online in over a month and now I get this icon telling me I owe upkeep fees. I pay every 2 days but he hasn't so it's piling up. I can't find anything on the wiki about what happens if you don't pay the fees when you aren't renting.

I think at around 50 mil for a PI if you don't pay upkeep your happiness goes down.
Once it gets to a certain % of the property value ($50m for a max PI) you will start to lose happiness but if your spouse owns it and isn't online I would just stop paying and wait to see if they come back or just live rent free
