Running out of ammo is rather annoying. I tend to buy large amounts of ammo and then forget about it. So running out of ammo mid battle, or finding out you have no ammo to begin with can be a little frustrating. Obviously its good to check once in a while, but I feel having some sort of notification when you are running low would be nice to have. Something like a yellow square, or some sort of colour change to the ammo button when ammo gets low. Then have a red colour change when you are out. Doesn't have to be an event notification, but just having something would be nice to have.

Just buy more ammo and keep better track of it. Or just use melee weapons. I see why you'd want this and even might feel like it's needed, but realistically speaking, you should really just keep track of your ammo and buy more when you need more or are about to run out.
I mean, I already stated that its obvious to check every once in a while lol. Was just thinking this would be nice quality of life update to be pondered, not a huge important update that would be game changing :)

No I get it, I see what you're saying, but... it really just sounds like the problem is that you're not paying enough attention to your ammo.

Why does your upkeep change colors when the bill get higher? There literally no reason other than to get peoples attention - not like the happiness drop wouldn't do it anyway.
I could say this exact thing about the Upkeep notifying you about your fees.
I think a little notification that you are out or or low on the type of ammo you need for your equipped items is a fair idea. Maybe if you have less than 2 clips.
