Why do I get hits although I did not do anything for my chain?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'get hits'. Can you elaborate?

We have to get 10 hits before forming a chain right? But sometimes I get hits even though I did not attack anyone.

If you mean your chain counter showing hits... that's because your faction mates are making hits.

If you're referring to the chain meter on the right side of the screen and how it'll tick up sometimes when you don't do anything: that isyour factionmates attacking someone. The chain is shared across all faction members, so when they attack anyone, you'll see the beginnings of a chain, potentially. EDIT: beaten by Neuropol
