Bored and started watching this documentary on Scientology and its pretty much confirming everything I have heard and believed. Most people become Scientologists because of the few celebrities that are involved. But if you look closely at their doctrine it is completely anti-democratic. And in order to become a scientologist you cannot believe in anything else at ALL. If you have a family you and decide to join Scientology, you will be forced away from your family and asked to break ties complete or suffer punishment. “The hole” the prison on Scientology grounds where the punish their members for disagreeing with their superiors orders or their religious law. In L Ron Hubbards book he quotes “once an area is cleared and all individuals are converted Scientology, we will take control of the area as a political center.” They want to take over the world, its their literal goal lol. But the fact that Shelly Miscavige is still missing since 2007 after breaking ties with the Scientology church its compelling. Then considering she is the wife of David Miscavige and then you consider their doctorine, it would 99% suggest that she’s imprisoned because she broke away from the church. That and it would deteriorate the entire premise of the Scientology church. These people believe if you have a headache you are a bad person and are suffering because of something you did lmao. The story of xenu is insanely childish, please give it a read if you need a laugh.

Idk how is it not illegalized in the US
The name is all wrong to start with.
I dont know how widespread scientology is world wide. But it is actually in the UK where i live, but its small.
I do recall many years ago ie in the 90s seeing tv adverts for scientology :P
Its small and very very niche here. but looking at wikipedia they have had VAT refunds in the $millions in this country. So they obviously have quite some number of followers here ...
I have never actually met anyone who has admitted to being one though. So im guessing its in the thousands in the uk ie below 100k members. Probably a lot lower than that.

Here people don't believe science, who will believe in scientology :D
And if people are compelled to do certain things and people are satisfied with it, that is good. Many people leave homes even following scientology and other religion, for various jobs and such things and if they disconnect or disagree for their beliefs, that is fine too. Matter of preference.
But that last thing of intention is not good. Religions are not to control people on people's ways. Or for political centers.
