As Insipid correctly put it, there is no way to delete a thread, but we can move it to the Graveyard. If you ever need one you made graved, or make a thread by mistake, in future erase the content …
You cannot exactly delete a thread, but they can be moved to the Graveyard.
To grave a thread, it is best to change the title and description to something along the lines of "please grave" and report the thread with the same reason. It should be moved to the graveyard soon enough after doing so.

If you ever need one you made graved, or make a thread by mistake, in future erase the content out of it, put the title as "Please Grave" and use the triangle symbol with the ! sign in the middle to report it, that way we will be able to see you would like it graved.
As I am here right now, I'll go ahead and grave it for you. :)
