Yes, donator status enables the 150E bar. It can be achieved by either subscribing for 5$/month or via a donator pack (market price about 24 millions of torn money).

This is besides the point but if you’re flying for income you really ought to be renting a private island not a castle. The jump in income will let you easily afford a donator pack per month.

Be a donator status. Buy dps or you can be a subscriber.

If you plan on being a daily player, Donator or Subscriber status is worth $5/month to many. The cool thing about this game is you do not have to spend real money to be a Donator. I recommend trying it for one month. It's not like you will get addicted or anything....

Subscriber status gives you the perks during the period your subscription is active. There are monthly and yearly subs iirc. Subscribers also get a blue star, instead of the gold star that people who got donator status through dp.
Both of these also increase energy replenishment t 5e / 10min instead of 5e/15min. So higher energy bar and faster e replenishment. Totally worth it.

Also, being a subscriber, you get subscriber bonuses each month, such as supply packs, caches, books, etc. The books, in my opinion, make it very worth while to be a subscriber. You *may* be offered books via missions as well, I've had 2 offered to me in about 4 years - and maybe city finds? Not sure on that as I've never found one. But I have read 13, own 14 more, out of 44 - almost all from being a subscriber.
being a sub does make more sense than buying dps, the books you have the chance of getting are very useful later in the game
