    Networth is a self correcting system, you might get a short term boost here but it will very rapidly just go back to normal based on market averages.

The item price of the broken baubles item gotten from the Christmas Town event is around 1.3mil but it increases my networth by 40mil.

So literally, buying 25 broken baubles (at 1.3mil each) gives you a networth of 1billion, which can be used to get the 1billion networth merit

I used Torn PDA to ascertain my observation and below is evidence of my claim
