it had nothing to do with religion (Sikh), race (black) or sexual preference (lesbian), it had to do with the polices of the NDP (Singh) and the Green Party (Paul). Green Party are eco-socialists, and NDP social democrats. Both parties have internal problems and poor policies rejected by the majority of Canadians. NDP provincially elected to Ontario under Bog Rae was disastrous. No wonder Rae went Liberal. It was under Rae the "White Male Need Not Apply" became the defacto standard in any gov't or institutional employment setting.
NDP support the Canadian Labour Congress who has a stated mandate to turn all cities into sanctuary cities. Something most Canadians including recently arrived are against.

Green party are fiscally conservative, and socially liberal.
Most of the progress in the last couple of sessions was derived from NDP policies that were repackaged by the Liberals. They do this to keep NDP support down and because majority of Canadians don't want a return to Harper and Mulroney type approaches so there's a consistent current of anything but C in many swing ridings. Greens won't be making much headway any time soon, and I often wonder what a merger of what the NDP and Greens would look like policy wise and vote-getting wise.
Bloc has a disproportionate effect on the national level and often when they are resurgent, the CPC are unable to capture seats in Quebec which affects the seat distribution.

Many in the most recent big UK one were even triple vaxxed, so guess vaccine doesn’t brainwash all to support authoritarianism. Part of why I don’t like feeding into division with special label for unvaccinated, see plenty in the US who are vaccinated opposed the mandates & done with more boosters; as they see how ridiculous all this is & they’ve been lied to as well.
You project your beliefs on to others, and think they think they same as you. There are many reasons people rejected the mandates, some having nothing to do with the vaccine itself.
Again, for like the, I don't know, billionth time, the vaccine does not prevent you from getting it. It just increases the chances that your body responds well, and in that matter might even fight it off before it takes hold. Especially the variants that the vac one was produced with. They are needed, it's not ok to support 'get natural immunity'. "It's ok mate, you might have lifelong dehabiliting effects, or even die, but it's 'bettet' for you duuuudee!". Is f**king dumb.
Until it's done doing it's thing we should be masked, and vaccinated. These are basic, easy protections. Purporting anything less shows everyone how you react off emotions instead of common sense.
Yeah, some of us could tell from Pfizer’s own trials it wouldn’t work. Doesn’t mean they didn’t mislead people for most the pandemic. Also you’re the one who said they’re vaccinated, as if that matters in regards to them protesting for freedom. Many vaccinated are so due to coercion, many vaccinated oppose the mandates since they care about universal freedom & not completely self centered around themselves; or know they can be deemed unvaccinated anytime another “booster” is deemed needed. Plenty of reasons to support freedom, regardless of whether people feel these are working for them.
As for life long dehabiliting effects, many have got that from the vaccine or regardless. I could credit not having taken it for not having any on same token some can claim it’s thanks to the vaccine. Effect is minuscule enough to fall into placebo & unmeasurable; where person to person varies. Vaccinated or not, but most of all it’s a freedom issue.
Yes they didn't participate in the Guinness World Records, but it shows the sheer amount of support and how big this is becoming. And yes many of them are vaccinated, they arent anti vaxxers, they are trying to end the mandates.
