Since you have never raced, I am assuming you mean to progress from class E to class D. Honestly, any car should work.
Read Baldr's guide in this forum before starting though, it will make the trip from E to A much more pleasant.

Yeah I would go with civic it help me most the time
I agree about using the civic to progress through classes, it works fine.
But im wondering if anyone has nailed down the best stock class-e car overall on every track?
My faction has a stock class-e racing league every Saturday so that all can take part, and I can say with confidence the Honda Civic is not the best overall stock car for running on every track.
