So, I used to get a text to my phone to verify my account but now I have to use "try another method" and I receive an e-mail with the code. Wonder why it stopped sending the code to my phone?

I found the cause, we have to go through this legislative BS to be able to send messages in the US now for some reason since March 1st. We are also no longer allowed to show "TORN" as the sender, …
Per the logs it is being sent through fine. Are you certain your carrier isn't blocking any of your messages?
No, I'm not sure. No reason to though. As long as it doesn't mess me up using "the other way" and have it sent to my e-mail, I will be fine.
Good to hear ya'll have logs to check.
Thanks, CloudJumper.

Usually the verification texts come from short form numbers these often get blocked by networks in some countries or by having premium rate messages blocked as a service even though there isnt a charge it can still flag as premium if another service uses the same short number, ia why I prefer the authentication app as saves the hassle of SMS
I've been having the same issue with no longer getting the texts. Thanks for the info, at least now I know I'm not crazy!!
Passing along to Joe for checking.
Thanks..!!
Thanks..!!
It seems many carriers are simply rejecting the verification SMS messages - I don't think there's anything we can do about that but I've put in a support ticket.

I've filled out the application, this should be resolved soon hopefully.

Thanks for handling this stuff. Compliance with regulations can be such a hassle.

Well the US finally fully migrated to 5G and all is good here.
