what job should i do for more intelligence, i think i need to wait 180 days to get enough intelligence to get brain surgeon from what it looks it at the moment

Go here https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Job and check what position your working stats allow you to reach in each starter job, then just compare to see which offers the most intel. Alternatively, see if a company is hiring total newbies and ask for a role with intelligence over there. You'll get trained in companies which should result in more intelligence gained.

If you do end up joining a company, check to see how much intel you're gaining per day in your role. You get less than the stated amount of working stats per day if you're under the requirement, so check to see that the gains aren't lower than just staying in a starter job.

As Rum mentioned, check out the city jobs for best INT gain, but I believe you may be better in Education job if that is your preferred route..
Personally I would go for a company that can train your INT.
Obviously paying for trains could be the fastest option, and some company perks plus flying when you get to lv15 could cover the cost of this.

I used to work out fastest routes for faction friends looking to speed through INT gains but back then we also had faction companies which would help them.
It would help to know your current work stats..

You don’t retain them into your next job, but if you ever join the same job or company type in the future you will still have those job points you had when you left.
