Quick thought, I’d like to be able to gift subscriber status to friends, say said friend can’t process the subscription payment on their end and I could help by sending it as a gift after processing payment.
could mean a lot for people who don’t have access to books because they can’t afford subscription, but anyone willing to help without coercion should be able to do that.
Donator packs dont give subscription gifts on the monthly basis so i can see the OP's point but that might open up a can of worms with people trading through torn with real life money using the paying through subscription just a thought there...
Pretty sure this opens a big rmt debate. Gets brought up a lot and that's the reason it'll never happen. Transfer the money to them somehow and let them purchase the sub

I wouldn't want to work with this for Google play, just Amazon and PayPal would be preferable.
The concern would be in situations of refunds/chargebacks but I don't think that's enough of a reason to hold back the idea, at the end of the day that would be something I can work a process out for.
I don't think there's any RMT concern, end of the day people are buying subs through Torn, I'd be fine with people sending friends cash in exchange to set up subs, I probably would ban situations where it's publicly offered/traded just for the sake of ease in case of refund situations, and keep it just within friends privately so - or a hard limit on how many subs one can gift (maybe 3?).

I've also known of some people to open the payments page and then go on TeamViewer with a friend, the friend then enters their payment details and confirms the sub securely - this is also fine as at no point did they have access to the person's Torn account, they merely entered login details on PayPal itself.
Was wondering if we can give donator days . It can be handy for newbies . Instead of spoiling and waste / spoil them with a dp pack , we use our own days to them instead.
That would be a hard no from me. You can already do this by sending donator packs, there's no need for any complications there, this WOULD pose a concern of RMT and actively harm Torn, unlike gifting subs.
People build up excess donator days largely from referrals, but we have plans to change this system in the future and replace the donator day gain with something else.
A cap would be feasible, RMT curbed if you can only send 2 subs a month, and might be exclusive to only subscribers too, so a non sub cannot send subs, was a quick thought but I have friends who do not want to invest a penny and I want them to experience the gameplay in a different light
Hw cn tt be rmt? Probably max the no. Of dp days to "donate" per player. Eg. Each player r allowed to received 7 dp days donation frm some1. A player can donate max 7 of his own dp days. Or only newbies can receive donator days.
Im suggesting bcos it hurt my pocket to get them newbies a dp n they end up not playing. I wld rather use my dps lol.
