Major Poker Issues

The game is broken at higher levels and easily exploitable.

A player offered me 3 million to sit there and let him kick my ass for several hours just to boost his points.

60 seconds is entirely unnecessary. No poker move takes more than 20 MAYBE 30 seconds. This additional time added to the fact that you can literally private message the people you're playing makes the game almost completely unplayable.

So how do we fix it?

Shorter timers, disabled private messaged while in the poker mode.

I agree 60 seconds is ridiculous. Get rid of some of those tables and add more allowable players so we have more options.

I'm in favor of getting rid of 60 secs... but also get rid of 15 secs....

or make all tables 15 secs with a time bank for when we need to think

I don't entirely see the point in banning private chat while at the table. They could use any 3rd party app to communicate if they wanted to no?

What you're describing isn't really an issue. The score you obtain is meaningless other than getting a merit at 10,000,000. It's just a weird measure of how much poker you play really, if you want to fudge it for no reason then who cares?

If you don't like the longer time-controls I understand that, but you can play on others (there are quite a few decent combos, even if they are on popular tables and you may have to wait for a seat?)

Are we missing an time/buy-in combination?

^^^^ most buy-ins do not have 15 second clocks.

idea of a 15 second clock plus time bank is very appealing. 15 feels short without a time bank, but 30 is very long when the same person keeps making their move at 26 seconds.
