One thing I've never really done is start a faction from absolutely nothing.

This is an invitation to try it with me, regardless of your level or prior experience.
- I'm looking for people who want to come and be leaders
- get the full faction experience
- get some leadership experience
I'm going to start a new faction, and it's going to be different...
The goal is to experience all of the decisions, challenges, thrills, questions, frustrations, laughs, mistakes, victories, and pride of starting and running a faction, and successfully growing it.
Together, we'll decide…
- what will make this faction special? What would make the best possible experience for everyone?
- what are our goals?
- what should our requirements be, if any?
- how can we make decisions effectively?
- what faction events/activities should we host to make our faction special and fun?
- how should we spend our respect? How will we get more?
- how should we go to war?
- should we sell and upgrade to a bigger faction? Are we ready? Do we want the pride of staying here and simply growing this one from scratch?
- where/how do we get/make new leaders?
- what permissions should we use? What about the risk of vault thieves?
- ranked war? How often?
- should we accept that person's application? Why or why not?
- should we boot that player? Why?
- how will we pay for stuff?
- how will we manage OC?
- how will we recruit?
- how will we train up, and nurture younger players?
- how will we keep the memes flowing at optimum levels?
Discord required (for leaders)
- Because of the nature of this experiment and the communication that will be needed, Discord will be required for anyone wishing to be part of the decision-making process
- Yes, it really is required to be part of the decision making process
- No, it's not required to simply enjoy being a member

Who can join?
- Preference given to like-minded, highly active players that share the vision, but other than that anyone is welcome
- those who want to share the experience as a leader
- those who want to share the experience as a member
- those willing to be somewhere in-between
Why FactionX? Why not Hawks or NS23?
- because I'm committed to the vision of a faction for the sake of "Faction x-perience" or "Faction x-periment"
- perhaps because I could use your creativity on the team
Isn't there already a "Faction X"?
- yeah, maybe we'll be friends (or enemies)
How will leadership work?
- let’s figure it out together
- we will have to earn trust and build trust over time
- and I'm sure it will change as we learn and grow
- I've certainly learned that many leaders are better than one, plus having people in other levels of responsibility really makes things work
What kind of culture will this faction have?
- culture will be created by all of us, but maybe the following can give a vision for some of the culture I hope to recruit and nurture...
