hey guys

so i was trying to create something like this , where we could pick colors for each notification type in events so we know where to look when we have a lot of events to read

i couldnt make it work with tampermonkey so i created a chrome extension , now works fine in the style.css file , the probem is
i cant find a way to specify each event by text in css , there are no :contains() in css, so i tried to do it in the content.js file with jquery

now the real problem
why does this work
$(' .row-color-marker:contains(bet) ').css('opacity' , '0')

and

'display' , 'none'

also works fine

but this doesnt work which is what i wanted
$(' .row-color-marker:contains(bet) ').css('background-color',' #green !important')

nor this

'background'

'color'

'border'

does anyone have any clue as to why ??

$(' .row-color-marker:contains(trade) > div').css('background-color','green')

Edit: you need the '> div' in the selector, you're selecting an 'li' with your selector :)
