So a quite simple solution, that is guaranteed to piss off scripters. While there are known scripts that allow attack pages to load faster, attacks to go faster despite the one second delay, others that benefit unequally. How bout in RW, territory wars & such. Between each attack, a captcha screen. Takes all the scripts out of those fights. Makes it actually fair. No advantage to computers over mobile. No script advantages. Comes down to stats, loadout & crits.
Yes I am aware there's a lot that would go into it, but as there seems to be no other way the powers that be will utilize. This would work in the interim.
basically, disables most of the graphics (you can't even see the enemy player's character afaik, just shows an empty box). also moves the start fight/mug buttons to be above your weapon, reducing "mouse move lag" to zero
i don't have this, but afaik it's been ruled totally legal and as it affects just "page styles" (moves page elements around/removes them like an adblocker), i'm not even sure it's detectable. so nothing can be done about it, even if torn wanted to, period
the popular mercs use this (and have been using it long before ranked wars)
as to the suggestion, i'd take a bullet before i took another captcha
