Do you need stocks in order to get stars for a company???

Certain stocks give different boosts, from what I have read is that the stars are random, and nobody knows how much exp you need they just random appear!! if I'm correct in saying so.

No need for stocks but hell the competition will wipe you out because they do have the benefits and it will take you twice the time but as long as your employees stats beats other companies you wont need them. They sure help and cost less cash into advertising.

If you're making a start-up company then I'd say it's not needed as much in the beginning. If you want to rocket up in ranks the stock benefits are definitely worth it. You stretch out the effectiveness of your advertising budget and get the additional productivity boost which in some of the company scenes depending on which you want to own is a must. Some companies will require 5m to 6m minimum in advertising so that 10 percent boost roughly to the advertising budget is a great asset. The productivity boost works with it synergistically to help make sure the stock you're selling in your business gets a boost as well. So over all, if you want to get into a competitive business then yes, definitely grab them.
