I've been working on this concept since roughly November, and I think that adding a company like this would breathe new life into this game, the same way allowing books to be read a second time after a year has passed would

This has many possible expansion series, I put together 101, 201 and 301 which, with the third level opens up a new trade in education which... obviously has yet to be fully developed.

I hope the community at large likes my idea.



1 star - skilled money management - 100 stocks for 1 job point (passive - company stays 10 star while tester is there)
3 star - rushed tax time - 50% passive increase to dexterity
5 star - speed reading - allow a company to connect to another company so the strengths of the 2 companies can merge into a corporation (passive for tester) 100000 points combined between the companies (group effort)
7 star - golden tax refund - (passive) upgrade on airline tickets
10 star - Weird Al's Special Deluxe Jazz - opportunity to connect to another private island and/or convert Island to yacht 3650 points

On any day for each star the company can expect 1-5 of each of the high priced torn specials, 0-20 evidence shredding. Of the other services this is per star and per person - 1-10 personal tax files, 1-5 business bookkeeping, 1-5 Entrepreneurial bookkeeping, 1-20 personal back tax files, 1-5 business tax files, and 1-5 Entrepreneurial tax files.
1-3 possible make me look broke per day (only 1 at 5 star)
1-2 possible make my life hollow per day (1 at 7 star)
1 possible unique superstar style only available at 10 star

So as a baseline 1 star with 4 employees that do not meet requirements for the positions they are in, might see $157,750 in profits with no help from education. And a 10 star with 10 over qualified employees with no help from perks of any type might see $4,429,000




Accounting 201

1 star with 2 companies linked (say 10 star and 1 star)
Equivalent to 11 stars. This operation must max out at 30 stars per day.

3 star passive mock 10 super speed. The ability to recover e at 5 times the usual rate. Doubled if combined with monthly donation pack - converts to book that can be traded or sold AND USED by buyer. This works with any linked company's desired book (like strength from furniture store to produce the brawn over brains book) books must be sold for no less than double the cost of a donation pack.

5 star passive upgrade on island perks.

7) chance to redo a failed Duke mission immediately - 1000 points

10) upgrade to island - 450 points. 900 if 201 is an add-on


Accounting 301

1) 1 point for 100 stocks

3) ability to create weapons with higher rare quality by adding other items (such as a lead pipe or a crimebuster cake) 99000 points

5)scientific discovery lab. Learn how to make cake buster kits. 5000 points

7) (passive) 40% stat boost for war ONLY

10) earned prerequisite for taking Smithing courses in education.

Hope you like it, if you do, lets see some love for making it a reality in Torn.

So a company that just merges with another company (completely unexplained by the way) with perks that take 9,900 days (or 365 for some... regardless they're ridiculous timelines) in a company to get...which is longer than that game has been around.

Not only that but what the hell does connecting to another PI mean?

The overall outtake is : potentially good IF each portion were explained to the nth degree, and points seem exaggerated.

Your idea is pretty much a super OP comp that’s cheap and has awesome perks, and can be made better with this “company joining” perk which I don’t get,
your basically trying to make a game breaking company.

Edit: and books were designed to be used once, as they provide a very decent perk, your aim is to make them readily available for 56m minimum

to keep it short and badly explained, the perks should be more balanced with the rest of the companies, which often have only one great perk so you have to make a choice based on your gameplay.
this is probably the most important thing i consider when i have to judge similar suggestions.

the merging companies mechanic is messy at a first glance and i'm not sure if/how it could be implemented. it's just a personal point of view.
i also really dislike things that could potentially benefit multiaccounts and this seems it would.

Maybe make it to exchange 100 job points for a stat enhancer since your idea is already absurd might as well go for the highest absurdity
