With Torn city’s appetite for drugs, lack of drug enforcement and drug programs, topped with smugglers of all kinds traveling the world I’m surprised Fentanyl hasn’t made it to the city yet. I was thinking Fentanyl could be an interesting item to add to the game. Similar to Xanax, but with double the potency. 500 energy. The hard drug however carries risks. With higher addiction levels and a 50% to overdose this is something only those addicted to free energy mingle with.

Taking 20x the maximum risk for 250 extra Energy? No, not worth it at all.
Besides, Fentanyl - aside from being one of the worst f**king poisons to flood the streets - wouldn't appeal to a large portion of the player base from a game-play point of view. Who'd give up their pristine white bars for a dirty grey-brown bag of loose powder?

That’s kind of the point. A gamble but with more reward for more energy, but not quite something that will replace the white bars which are the golden standard. If the stats scaled “fairly” then no one will use Xanax anymore
