normally when setting a link to a image the code is as follows:

<a href="link address"><img src="image destination"></a>

the href of any link portion works, on the other hand the img scr protion does not.

for instance you should be able to img scr ANY link such as https://imgur.com/a/U8GptLj

but when doing so for something like faction announcements or description the image breaks.

it seems torn does not handle this well and looks for links that end in .jpg or .png which now in days is rare.

even torns own profile picture links are not set to this and are instead set to something like https://www.torn.com/userimages.php?XID=1847600

so if I want to choose an image form there I wouldn't be able to cause none of the images when clicked on generate a link that ends with the proper .jpg or .png

not sure if this an oversight on the makers or not but needs to be fixed

I discussed this with Kostya and there are some security concerns which is why we have never implemented this. This may be possible in a future update to the new editor that is currently under development, in which case this report will need to go to Violeta. However, I would like to check Joe's thoughts on this first.

Thanks!
