Hello, everyone.

I might sound crazy or non understand . Plz bear with me

There has been going a scam/exortion in warring factions

GUARANTEED WIN IN WAR

[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]There is some shady peoples and group going on about telling new factions to be handled by them .

* They bieng in high respect factions, bieng in association with good factions . They tell leaders and co to be handled by them , then they have a cut in your rewards of war.

After some time they place leaders and thier member in your faction
Then after some win . When you win big like 2 bill to more , they take all the caches , frauds about you not being good enough. Then they raid your faction till the respect is drained to lowest . After all this
They send a person like a angel to buy your faction for cheap and stop
The raid . When you sell them they fluctuate your faction to another leader so they can farm from it . After it they use these to let another win wars . Let this cycle continue.

Some of these may even changed thier name .

Extortion =/= scam

Sucks that people manipulated you. I've seen this a couple times by some very notable individuals. Low move but fair play in the end.

Think the best course of action would be to sell to someone equally powerful to the extorter. No way you'll get out of it alone, but preventing their scheme from working will keep them from doing it over and over.

Maybe you shouldn't have handed leadership and control over caches to people who just come out of nowhere and claim to help you. I mean if they were to guide you in ranked wars, they can do that without having to take over leadership positions.

I am sorry you got scammed but this should motivate you to become stronger, better, and more doubtful of anyone in Torn. (It's a game about crime, you can't exactly expect everyone to be honest people)

Lol last I saw, IMPETUS instigated a group of people, which led to its destruction. A big mouth get you in trouble... XD

Click ignore and/or dont respond to any perilous mails and chats. It isnt rocket science.

There are buffoons who will take all your lunch money and girlfriend if you let them do it. They want you to cave in fast and do what they want you to do.

Just dont play ball. In fact take your ball home. Click ignore on them. Do a cartman 'screw you guys im going home'


The chancers want you to help them make them even richer than they already are. They will 'offer to help' then take all the loot.

Try the ranked wars on your own. With no outside help. If it doesnt work, join a real faction. Grow in strength, earn play money then try to run a ranked war faction.

Dont 'contract it out' if you cant do it yourself grow in strength and then do it.
