I see that seems profitable if you are new. But it destroys your crime experience gain, dont do it if you are at all interested in progressing your nerve bar.

More profitable if you buy 100 beer a day at bit's and bob's and sell them back
At risk of sounding dumb - if you're new don't you have to do the stealing crimes anyways to progress? Are yall saying it's better to steal something else and not the candy? They sell for like 8k a pop right now.
You get jailed often and lose all the experience you gained. I personally made this mistake so my nnb is behind other people who started stealing jackets before me.

while mimicking the rest of the comments above, it is bad for your CE, but the effects are pretty minimal when you're new. stealing chocolates for two weeks or so, before switching to gain CE will only put you behind by two weeks. which is nothing in torn.
use it to gain a little bit of money, hit level 15, rent a PI. at that point you should stop stealing chocolates, start flying to make money, and switching to safe crimes for CE.

id suggest you play a while longer and learn about the game mechanics before giving misleading advice.
