I have 3 alerts and when I click on them I get this error. unable to fetch user events, limit is reached

You are using an API key which is making an inefficient call to the User > Events section of the API which is causing your account to retrieve massive amount of rows every 30 seconds. I will let you figure out which key is the culprit from here and ask the associated developer of the script/tool to post in this thread that Ched has created. The tools need to adapt and be smart about the API usage and reduce the calls.
If you are using DoctorN, you will need to disable it and remove the key from it. The extension is no longer maintained and appears to be the main source of the issue.
Here's an example of script making excessive calls:

ReTorn, for example, does not make the call to Events as seen here and will not reach the limit:
