How does environment affect profits? How big of an impact does it have? (I.e how much does 80%, 90%, 100% environment etc. affect profits)

Environment works the same way advertising does, in that it's not the number that matters but how yours compares to your competitors'.
That's not really true... environment isn't really a competition, and you get a direct boost in revenue for it being at 100%. That being said, it's influence is pretty small in my experience provided your not at some very low number
