Shouldn't there be like a rule where 'after reaching level 100,and getting 'good' you are forced to restart the entire game if you remain active for like 12 consecutive days or something?

Logic:

Decreases power imbalance between new players and HoF

Evens the bell curve as most of the fedded/ deserters are new players

Reminds HoF of the basic lesson of humility and sympathy for noobs.

Increases amount of money earned,as if someone is forced to restart then you could milk their wallet for cash more than just 1 run through games.

Essentially the logic rests with the 'you beat the game there's nothing left for you to do ' logic. It's going to trim the pack of the upper bell curve as most players who quit or are forcibly removed tend to be lower level players who can't feasibly advance due to inhibiting factors such as a vast power imbalance where overweight losers in mum's basement partake in pay to win and gaining unnecessary edges over others due to real world money trading ([background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]dp's) and having no life [/background]

It’s interesting that you included a ‘why’ option in the poll, an insinuation that you understand the reasoning isn’t clear, then post without giving any reasons?

The game is long term, a mandatory restart would go against the entire philosophy of that. A Call of Duty Prestige type system would be cool though where you can reset level to 1 after hitting 100 and go through it all again for a neat badge by your name.

game isn't meant to be beaten in 3 weeks, you haven't even really started the game yet and you're already trying to drag people back possibly a full 18+ years back to your level because you feel entitled to being on their level? Quick tip: faction perks will be your first step to earning any kind of competitive spot in this game, a 78k faction with maybe 3 travel items isn't going to get you anywhere early.

Honestly I hate and love games that have an end/finish, I love them because I will be done with them, I hate them because I will be done with them.

All the progress and time spent just whoosh.

the whole point of Torn is that it is long term. you are not going to be the best immediate and the top players took years to get there. If you want sympathy for noobs don't try and delete decades of hard work.

level 100 effectively means nothing, you can be level 100 and the only thing it proves is that you have accumulated enough XP to get there. It says nothing of your actual progress within the game which is determined by various factors such as natural nerve, battle stats, working stats, networth, achievements, etc.

In addition to the above sentiments, what's there to stop a HoF asshole from putting in their 500b into the faction they lead, getting the Mando restart, then starting as a noob with 500b? Seems to go against what you're going for here

If you're suggesting that all their assets get immediately deleted (or sent to the mystery church donation fund), what would that do to the torn economy, would be devastating. What about factions and companies? Would those get immediately deleted too if the restart is directing/leading them? What happens to the everyday members enjoying the perks, or the hard work put in to reach the levels of Monarch or JFK? Seems incredibly messy, and while I'd be all about shaking up the faction landscape (ched make the map bigger pliss >.>) Simply Thanos snapping away millions of respect or billions in items seems a little extreme ;)
