I’m Catholic Christian, and that may mean some people assume automatically I hate all LGBTQ+ people, but I want to clear this up now: we are all God’s children. I have to patience nor tolerance for homo/transphobics, gay bashers, people who do not call people by their preferred pronouns, etc. Live a good life, be a nice person, and God will love you. Live your life how you want. I and all other real Christians support you and value you as part of God’s family. Happy pride month everyone!

It's good to hear a supportive voice from someone with religious beliefs. So many people hide their bigotry behind the same vague religious texts and unfortunately that causes people to justify spreading hatred. Whether people believe in a god or not is another question, but for those who do - believing in a god and being a part of the LGBTQ+ can and should co-exist without a person feeling outcasted or pressured into conversion.
I find it incredibly hilarious how people need to "prove" they care about pride month in order to support it.
Gay people simply want to be accepted for who they are and not "events" celebrating them. Telling someone you support them and love them regardless of their sexuality is all someone needs.
Not some corporate bullshit like you're suggesting people do in order to "prove" they give a shit.
I'm not gay... I don't care about gay month, I treat gay people like I do anyone else and that's all they want. They need a "month of celebration" solely because not everybody feels this way. Because of people like you if I'm being honest.
Hell yeah, I hope it's awesome. There's one by me, but my girlfriend is working that day so we can't make it. I'm hoping we can get out to at least one pride event this month though.

The funny thing is people in US believe in left and right ideology but reality is, it's just corporation interests. You are being divided so you won't demand your rights like free healthcare and education.

Also according to democracy, your freedom ends when the freedom of another person starts.
What does that mean? The LGBTQ+ community should have the exact same rights as straight people. It has 0 effect on you what people do in their bedroom.
It should have 0 effect on you what people do publicly. If two men kiss, you won't get corrupted, nor will your kids. If you can't explain to your kids, that in this world, there are different people, that should be accepted, you shouldn't be a parent. There isn't a pair of humans that are the same. Everyone is different.
If you go by "it's mental illness what it isn't normal", then please read the five monkey experiment. What is considered normal in one culture/community may be not normal in another. If your view is so limited, please travel, learn new cultures, open your eyes cause you are a dumbass.
If you want to live in your bubble, you can create a community like the Amish and do so. In democracy, what is considered normal is decided by the majority.
If the majority decides that being LGBTQ is normal, then you are the one with the "mental" illness. Culture/communities evolve. What was considered normal 50 years ago, is completely different.
Again follow this simple rule. Don't be a dick to each other and you will succeed
