this one is a weird one. for certain people on the torn app the chat box doesnt work. on pc works fine but the mobile app, for some people, does not show up. for others it works fine and on pc their boxes show up.I reinstalled the app 5 times in 3 weeks. works a bit after reinstalling then stops working again.

This happens if you left the chat window open an another idle device/browser and the chats go out of sync on the app. You need to open the idle device, close or minimize the window and you should be able to access the chat on your mobile. Alternatively, you can locate the person under Recent list and click the cross next to their name to clear them from the Recent list, this force closes the chat window on all idle/open devices.
