After the latest shutdown, couple of days prior. I pick up a minigun from the dump. When it came back on the gun was on my items list. However the item is selected but is not on selected list. It also states I don't own it. I need help to sort this please.

I am not sure what you mean, but the gun is in your Items, you own it and currently have it equipped and you can sell it if you want (after you unequip it by clicking the minus sign). The system won't show the option to Sell it if you did not own the weapon.

If you are looking at the "All" category on the Items page, try scrolling down then the item would appear as equipped on the top of the list.
