    I'm assuming you're saying you have a Disarm weapon and you expected him to be disarmed.

    He wasn't disarmed because he hadn't used a weapon yet. He had only thrown a temp. If he had used a weapon instead, it would have disarmed it.

    Disarm bonus removes the weapon used on the prior turn, your opponent used a temporary weapon on their prior turn, which cannot be disarmed as it was already thrown.
