    You don't use different spray cans of the same color for two different areas. If you have a can equipped, it's content will go down no matter which area you paint in. Your graffiti will be cleaned by the authorities …

Scenerio:
Graffiti East with black paint can
Graffiti west with black paint can
When I do the crime for east, the paint level in both drop to the same percentage, and then both disappear when Graffiti East is empty. I didn''t try different matching colors like red and red, as I didn't want to lose more paint cans.

I also just noticed that crime count during this would go UP in East and DOWN in WEST as you can see in attached pics.
East 182 -> 183
West 124 -> 123
Something is seriously wrong there...

Quoting the announcement,
- Your reputation level within an area is determined by the amount of graffiti you've placed. Over time, graffiti is gradually lost as the authorities clean it up.


I would guess that this was the gradual loss at play. Perhaps coincidental timing. But I'll leave it to the experts to confirm.

Your graffiti will be cleaned by the authorities over time, so you are expected to lose some of them.
