It's been 2 months and they've gained nearly 30 levels in that time. You might not have much luck getting that referral retroactively applied, but the minimum that needs to happen is that your referral posts here as well agreeing that you did indeed refer them.
I second what Cheesus said, my spouse joined secretly to "see if he'd like it" before telling me he did so I never got the referral - when contacting staff they said it was too little too late sadly, good luck on getting it - but certainly have your spouse confirm that you were the one to refer them in this thread.
