You made changes to the Staff, you removed 5 guards and then reinstated them. Staff salaries are due the moment you hire them, so if you hire/fire them 3 times in a row, you will have to pay for the hiring 3 times.
The 75k difference is the salary for the 5 guards that you "newly" hired.
