Problem with leveling up

I'm not leveling up I'm attacking people but nothing happens I've gone to to level 5 but it's to slow because my friends that have started after me and do less attacking are leveling up faster than I im can someone please explain why this is becoming a problem because it stops me from making any progress??????

You're only at 40 successful attacks won right now, twelve days old, and four hours total gameplay time. As the adage goes.. Torn is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep doing what you're doing and you will progress. Perhaps it would be beneficial to look at your friends' personal statistics to see what they're doing that perhaps you aren't. Are they doing more crimes, are they completing more missions, etc? All those actions will result in gaining experience.

Bottom line.. have patience and be persistent. Reading Baldr's guide would be extremely beneficial to you as well.

If you are not levelling up then it is because you do not have sufficient experience to level up. You will need to continue attacking players to gain more exp if you want to level up. Each subsequent level requires more exp than the prior levels, the requirements are in an increasing curve.
