Are DBs effective anymore or are they being used inefficiently?

With the last round of DBs being mostly ineffective, do they need to be buffed or were they just used poorly? Even when NS used them on M during the first Island War it was more of an “!” than any tactical use.

With the factions using them in the millions of respect does the % loss even take away any perks? When a faction is 100% above what is needed for all useful perks does the loss make a difference?

Do DBs need to be buffed or Cesium need to be increased? Should Hazmats provide as much protection as they do?

Tbh one of the db uses wasn't too ineffective, but the faction using it was mostly ineffective. How in the hell do you f**k up a wall when over half of the enemy is on a neumune diet.

They're definitely effective if used correctly. NS's on M were probably 2 of the most effective 'new' bombs that have been used tbh.

You just need good communication when you decide when you want to use one

While proper co-ordination does lead to better results, truth is, it's a bit underpowered for it's price and what's supposed to do. Hazmats once were an item of ultra rarity and luxury, now they aren't exactly common, but for top HoF factions it isn't hard to adquire hazmat suits.

I'd see a stronger, but even more expensive DB as a valid solution.

But to be fair both sides wasted DB's like crazy during this war.

Didn't the other side drop a DB on SA to try and stop them or something?? To be fair, I barely understand what's going on anymore, excuse my ignorance

An inactive player came back and dropped one on SA as a historical f**k you.

OBN/WW haven't needed to drop any.

(Apologies for cabbage comment, lol, its meant to be a light hearted Gordon Ramsey jibe)

I think the words "DB" and "ineffective" making sense in the same sentence is an issue given that DBs are basically the end-game item.

I think factions being capped at an arbitrary 100 members is an issue. Why not 105? 110? (At the cost of a lot of respect, of course)

I think raids should take away 4x more respect than they currently do.

I think fake walls as they exist today make the game terribly dull.

I think the territory map is too large for the current playerbase.

I think a lot of things.

The way I see it is;

60-85B to take off say 500K respect. A day in hospital and stat reduction that fades off quick enough.

same amount of money could get you 20,000-30,000 1M bounties on a faction of your choice, effectively f**k about with them for a much longer period of time, and give a bunch of them the outcast title, ofc.

The DB is a huge f**k you, but entirely underwhelming IMO, other than in scenarios like the territory wars etc, but even then; is it worth it?

it would be great if it done a lot more damage, but when you hit a faction and they can just do a 50k or 100K chain and it’s like the damage never existed. Meh.

Make TT transfers do substantial respect damage. If you lose a TT war you lose x respect. if you NAP then each side loses 1/2x. Raise x until people stop.

Put RWs in a protected arena so the outside cant interact with them and visa versa.

Remove ED.

Embrace the clusterf**k team battle for TT that gravity is obviously pulling everything to anyway.

Increase cesium drops just cause they never let me near the bombs.

DB's are kinda trash imo, worthless too, if you guys have any stinking up your inventory I'm happy to take em off your hands

Are you crazy? They, along with the other geniuses at RoD have used thousands of energy just this last week to keep my 18 man faction hosped because we helped WW/OBN once a month ago. If that’s not tactical brilliance then what is?
dark95 [2321537]
ohhh theyre very effective in the gambling sense

you see, you happen to be online when one is dropped and voila.... the excitement for a chance to have Cesium to spawn in your map becomes very high

Before, my curiosity was as to whom was being targeted, while now it's all about the map search post explosion xD
