I have a load of books. I have read many, but not all. Is there a way that the books inventory in my items shows the books as read, or unread

yes there is, theres an indication whether you haven't read them for Read: No or have read them for Read: Yes based on the view details[image: i.gyazo.com]

The "Read" button will be missing from the inventory, if you have already read the book:

The item description panel will show whether you have Read the book or not:

You can also check your logs here. If you have simple questions related to the game, I will recommend you to submit them under Questions & Answers forum. Bugs and Issues section is reserved for submitting bug reports.
