New player here. Today I checked my net worth and it is around $38 million. To be clear, I have played this game for around 2 days, and I checked my inventory and there was nothing of ultra high value that I have obtained. Is this normal? Also, is there a way to check what makes up what amount of my net worth?

Personal stats page
Odds are that either one of your weapons or armor had a spike because a high quality (ranked war) one sold increasing the average, or you have more things than you realized ($38m is very little in Torn).
TornTools, a browser extension, can also show you the value of your inventory on your items page, which makes it easy to find out where your money is.
Edit: for some reason that link shows the graph but not the list - it’s the tab with four icons to the left of the bottom right one with a file folder icon.

Imma try the extension. Thank you!!
On TornTools it says I have $304k worth of items in my inv, but on my networth page it says that my items are worth $38.925 mil. Why is it such a drastic difference?
Maybe some item had a higher market price yesterday. The nw update is daily. Sometimes items have an insane (wrong) high market value.
Definitely install Torn Tools, it's an amazing extension.
That said, nw thst you see does NOT correlate directly to sum of your items. Eg if u get a Donator Pack, it won't add exactly 23.5M to your nw, but a bit different.
How much different, nobody knows, but item nw is a hidden information and changes much slower than game market price. This is to ensure players don't manipulate their nw.

Yes this is huge change. It will probably fox itself in a day or two.
FYI net worth is not a real-time number. Either your inventory changed in the last day or the value of your inventory changed in the last day.
Does it not just use the market value of an item that can be found on the API? Or something else?
e.g. donator pack is not $23.5M, it is $23,391,934.

I checked the live net worth through TornTools and my networth has gone up around 100k, so ig it’s a weird error that’s lasted a couple hours so far.
That's exactly what I said that it does NOT do. As per CloudJumper:

Networth contribution of an item is based on a long term average, not just the current Market price or "Value" shown under the description. This is done to avoid manipulation of networth. Hence it is possible for an item to have a higher networth contribution than the Market value.
