With the inventory removal, some scripts are now broken. Is it possible to make the inventory selection return the equipped items only? In this way:

1) The issue for which the inventory got removed might not be an issue in this case
2) At least we have something from the inventory
3) Old scripts will not be broken

I’m really torn on this one.

On one end, this would be amazing and you could make some really nice tools using this. There’s a precedent for it; revivers can see who does or does not have revives enabled. I personally think the gun shop special is identical to this.

At the same time: I’m not sure this is the right use of the API. I feel like part of the gun shop special as you have to go to the page to look. But on the other side again, the exact same argument could be made about revives, which is the API.

Either way, definitely make a separate bug post for this - the devs/cloudjumper don’t usually look at closed reports.

I am not a fan of the idea, it shouldn't be a special that can be automated.

People will start selling custom keys that have access to the info, so it can be grabbed on demand. If this is branded as illegal, the same thing will still be done internally among factions (except the "pay" might be a little more discrete).

Revives are different, its a passive shared by a large portion of the playerbase and doesn't carry as large of an impact as revealing the enemy's loadout before an attack is initiated.
